It's been said on the show before so it doesn't just apply to 5x07. *sighs* I really dislike the word "idjit" and cringe whenever it's said on the show.

Do we know who sings Sam and Dean's theme song? Also, it reminds me a little bit of BtVS's "If We're Together".

smidgy06: Oh, my God. Sam already IS Lucifer. This whole plan has been in action since the beginning, right? Just, somehow Lucifer's been separated. Remember when Xander was split in two? Kind of along those lines. Sam and Lucifer have both forgotten this, that they are the same person, aAnd once he's whole again it's going to be epic and we'll see a whole reel of flashbacks and learn all about Sam's plan to kill Mary and John and why he chose them to be his parents and other such things.

I swear that sometime ago Kripke said words, I don't remember what those exact words were but basically it was, 'I had this vision of two brothers road-tripping and hunting demons and it was very urban legendish and American and hella awesome.'  ... And golly gee heck, that does sound like a good vision. What I'd like to know is when his vision changed, I'm sure it was awhile ago. Hmm, okay maybe I want to know is why has he become his own fangirl? Next week's ep is the third or fourth 'Hahah. Fans are crazy and ridiculous. Let's make fun of them.' ep. Or so it seems from the promo. Why do they feel the need to tell us yet again that they're aware that we exist? I don't think we need Kripke and crew doing the fanning for us, we do all right by ourselves and often do it a lot better.

What I'd like to know is when his vision changed

My theory? Season two and the threat of the show being canceled. I don't buy for a second that the YED would be killed off that quickly.

Also? Watching yet ANOTHER EPISODE poke fun at fans - especially those who go to conventions - is annoying. I don't go to cons, so I could care less about next week's episode.

Your theory? Dead on. If something like that shocked me as much as that did? It wasn't a logical progression of story. As much as I loved those two episodes, everything felt so rushed and slap-dashed together. And the results were like a comedy of errors. Except not that funny.

SPN Writers: "Oh noes, we might not get another season! END IT!"

The CW: "LOL, renewed! Scurry, motherfuckers! Scurry! Hahahahaha!"

SPN Writers: "Fuckadoodle! We gotta fix this shit with Dean! Let's have a Sam arc! With some real Sam character development. Sound awesome? Yes? Yay!"

Writers' Strike: "OH FUCK NO. NOBODY'S WRITING NOTHING UNTIL HOLLYWOOD PLAYS FAIR."

SPN Writers: "Shit, what do we do now? Postpone our original plan of Sam getting Dean out of the deal? No, fuck that. ENJOY HELL, DEAN! HAHAHAHAHA!" Later ... "We got renewed? Shit, how do we get Dean out of Hell? Angels? GENIUS."

Logic and Reason: "Um, guys, how are you going to explain why angels would want to get Dean out of Hell?"

SPN Writers: "Two words: CANON. RETCON."

Marvel Comics: "That's not a good idea. Take it from us. WE KNOW ABOUT THIS SHIT."

SPN Writers: "We're smarter and cleverer and our fans will swallow any bullshit we slap down on a plate in front of them! They'll lap it up and beg us, 'Please, sir, may I have some more?' And we don't have Jeph Loeb on staff, either."

Marvel: "Don't say we didn't warn you."

Logic and Reason: "What he said."
