Do you know what your name would have been had you been born the opposite sex? Mine was going to be Christopher Michael.

What about what you were almost named? I was almost Crystal. I'm really glad my mom changed her mind on that one. And then at one point she was going to name me Jericho (as a girl) ... at least I'm fairly sure it was that name. That might've been kinda cool.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing that my name fits me? The majority of the Michelle's I've met in my life have all been ... well, I really did not like them at all.

Wow, for your sake I'm kind of glad you were not named Emerald Ann. Unless, you uh really like that name and then I don't know how to reply to that. :/

I know you feel, I think it could be a good thing - but then again I'm not even sure myself *face palm* But Jericho could've been neat though.

I've not liked it for a long time (Emerald Ann) - as it is I hate the name I have now mostly because my real Mom picked it and . . . uh I don't remember her and I'm not too fond of her from what I've been told. Plus I think, if I had been a boy the woman might've named me after my little brother whose named Joseph Herbert.

It makes me cringe.

True, but ehh that's why everybody calls him Joe though Herbert makes me cringe alot. I quite like being a girl.

No one uses my real name anymore with my folks it's just nicknames same with friends. The only time they use it is when somethings wrong or whatever. Mostly I just get called "Sammy" (sometimes Sandy by Dad) or "Girlie" by the folks, so s'not all bad. :D

It's from one of Dad's old army buddies that's passed on - I have no idea why he nicknamed me that (I still have no clue and wish I had known I do think Dad knows but won't say I think it has to do with one of them I never met that they were in the army with) and Dad says it sometimes plus he works with a "Sam" but the army friends wife (and all the other wives everytime I see 'em every 4 years) call me "Jen Jen" or "Jenny".
