Gilmore Girls

And done.

I liked the way it ended, I think.

I get why Rory said no to Logan but I kind of wish that she had said yes. And then I hoped that he'd magically show up to the party and say something corny and cheesy like, 'I don't want a life without you.'

I'm pretty darn sure that Logan was my favourite.

Luke and Lorelai ... I don't know. I guess I hope that they work things out.

Emily trying hard to find away to get Lorelai to stay in touch with them made me cry and Lorelai still wanting Friday Night Dinners (and yes, it should be capitalized) made me cry a bit more.

I kind of love those Gilmores.

I cried so hard watching that last episode. That was my favorite show for years, and even though the last season floundered a bit, I loved it for a long time.

I'm pretty darn sure that Logan was my favourite.
He was always my favorite, too.

Awww Logan. I think they got back together lately.

The Gilmore Girls finale makes me miss my Mom and Nana all at the same time. I really loved that show

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-15 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't want it to be over.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-15 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Hopefully they end(ed) up together.

It was a good show. :/

I still missed that show, I cried bit when I finally watch the last epiosde.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-15 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
:) I cried a lot.

[identity profile] gwendolynmstacy.livejournal.com 2008-04-15 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Logan was a favorite, still is really I think I was happy with how it ended though I kinda didn't at first and now it just feels okay.

I think L & L would have worked things out - same with Logan & Rory, or maybe I'm an optimist.

I still miss that show.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'm thinking ... hoping that I'll be more okay with it in time.

Nah, I think you're right that they all would've worked it out.

I get why Rory said no to Logan but I kind of wish that she had said yes. And then I hoped that he'd magically show up to the party and say something corny and cheesy like, 'I don't want a life without you.'

I swear I said that nearly verbatim when I finished it in January.

Dean Forester may have built her a car and all, but Logan was definitely The One, imho.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
:)

I think he was The One too.

[identity profile] ophelia-77.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
Gilmore's are awesome. Logan was not my favorite but he was a close second.

Emily and Lorelai make me laugh, cry, scream....they always get a reaction out of me.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Which Suitor of Rory was your favourite?

Hah, yes. A lot of the time I kind of wanted to slap both women upside the head.

[identity profile] goodnight.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
I like how they ended it, too. In my own little world somewhere down the line in the future when they've both matured, Dean and Rory run into one another and they go and get coffee and then they fall in love and live HAPPILY EVER AFTER OKAY.

And to think I used to be a Jess girl.

I liked Logan too...but I'm glad she didn't marry him.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I think I could be okay with that but I really do think that Logan was the one she was meant to be with.

[identity profile] ophelia-77.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
I liked Dean, and not just because he was Padalecki, but I liked his interaction with both Lorelai and Rory. How he knew and loved all their little quarks and fit into their crazy Stars Hollow lives so perfectly. But, even though I liked him they made a good choice removing him from the picture when they did. Logan was the right choice for Rory in college.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
I really liked Dean too and I did love him and Rory together but not so deep down I was a big fantasizer of Dean/Lorelai.

[identity profile] goodnight.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
I don't like him from the standpoint that he was all spoiled rich kid. I think Rory should be with someone more real so she doesnt become her grandparents.

[identity profile] ophelia-77.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Ah yes. Dean and Lorelai. I never thought of that on my own but I saw a fic about it once and found the idea intriguing. It never quite rang true for me because Lorelai would never date Rory's ex, but had Lorelai found Dean first then, oh yeah, it would have been on. I could totally see her with a younger guys and vice-versa.

[identity profile] coppering.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
oh gosh.

I was pretty weepy during the last two episodes of gilmore girls... I just care so much about them that I hate the fact that it was all just over!

Logan was one of my favorites as well, but I kind of was surprised when Rory said "no" and then he just walked away without even looking back, I feel like there should have been more fighting on his part. (although in my secret world Rory and Dean find happiness in the end... Carpenter Dean is just real sexy).

I really loved the Emily/Lorelai connection, I like seeing how far they came!

oh kay, blathering done... great show!

Logan sort of grew on me, even though I wanted to hate him because Dean was my favorite... my spouse is a huge Logan fan and wanted them to end up together.. I dunno \o/

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
*sides with your spouse* I mean I loved Dean too, he was so sweet and nice and such but yeah.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
Heh, I was a lot weepy too during the last two eps. Damn them!

I thought he should've fought a bit more too but then I guess it's more in Logan's nature not to do such a thing, he probably got really drunk and beat some random guy up at a bar.

[identity profile] pippilottah.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 08:27 am (UTC)(link)
Your post almost makes me cry. I was weeping trhough pretty much the entire last episode, I'm going to miss Stars Hollow so much.

I really wanted Rory to end up with Logan. I think the producers/writers said that the Gilmore Girls started out single so they should end with being single, too, but I don't care. Maybe after Rory's done reporting on Obama, her and Logan get back together and live happily ever after.

[identity profile] bitterbird.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 11:31 am (UTC)(link)
oh man I miss this show so much right now

I wish after everything Luje and Lorelai had worked things out too

I kinda liked Rory saying no, I think she needed time, there was so much she wanted to do and some of it I think she needed to do alone
I could totally see them ending up together happy ever after later though

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 02:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I would like that if that happened between Rory and Logan and and if they said that then what was that between Lorelai and Luke? Piffle to the producers/writers.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I got that feeling that Luke and Lorelai did work things out.

Yeah, maybe a couple years down the road Logan and Rory are having their Happily Ever After.

[identity profile] kilynn16.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
In my own little world somewhere down the line in the future when they've both matured, Dean and Rory run into one another and they go and get coffee and then they fall in love and live HAPPILY EVER AFTER OKAY.

In my head, that is EXACTLY how it goes down. Dean/Rory = OTP

[identity profile] nemo-88.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 10:45 am (UTC)(link)

I get why Rory said no to Logan but I kind of wish that she had said yes. And then I hoped that he'd magically show up to the party and say something corny and cheesy like, 'I don't want a life without you.'

That's exactly how I saw it too. I loved Logan. *sad* Don't really like how they ended that.

[identity profile] certainthings.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe we just didn't see him show up and tell her that he'd wait for her.
